Based in Flintshire, approx 20 minutes from Chester, we offer rabbit boarding, guinea pig boarding and other small animal boarding in a friendly and caring environment.

We have transformed a small outdoor stone cottage at our home into a rabbit boarding hotel to provide comfortable and welcoming housing for your pet. It is cool in summer and heated in winter to provide a happy and healthy environment for our guests.

Here at The Bunny Garden we look after your rabbit and guinea pig as if it were one of our own. Cuddles and nose rubs are compulsory here! We want you to feel relaxed on your trip away knowing that your pet is being well looked after and are more than happy to send you email or text updates while you are away.

Our large 5ft hutches have a soft rubber floor which is both comfortable for your pet but also hygienic too as it can be lifted and thoroughly cleaned. To provide stimulation for your pet we rotate toys every two days to stop them becoming bored. Your pets are given exercise daily in individual play pens which also have shade and shelter and Bunnies are checked regularly throughout the day to help prevent Fly Strike.

Please note we have strict vaccination requirements to ensure the wellbeing of your rabbit and that of our other guests. Before staying with us rabbits will need to be vaccinated against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (VHD) and these injections are given two weeks apart by your vet.

However, we do have one outdoor Eglu rabbit hutch with attached run that clients with non vaccinated rabbits can book for e.g when making a late booking within 2 wks of the drop off date and do not have the opportunity to have their rabbit vaccinated.  The Eglu is on a paved area for easy disinfection, and is situated away from the areas used by our other guests.

 

  

To minimise disruption to your pet's routine as much as possible, we ask that owners bring their own dried food and we will supply good quality hay and fresh vegetables. We will provide a water bottle or bowl whichever your pet prefers and litter trays too.

We welcome other small animals such as hamsters, gerbils, mice and rats with cages to be provided by owners.  We can also look after your chickens who will be housed in their own Eglu chicken house with run.
